Barking Abbey’s Charlotte Ellmore has been named to the final squad for the Great Britain Under-18 Women’s team that will compete at the European Championships in Dublin next week.
Ellmore makes the step up from the Under-16s, where she represented England at the European Championships last summer.
“I’m extremely pleased that Charlotte has made the final squad,” said Barking Abbey Director Mark Clark.
“I believe she has Senior national team potential; it’s a great reflection on her talent and work ethic and the way both ourselves and Southend Swifts have enabled Charlotte to develop.
Head Coach Vanessa Ellis’ squad will be playing in the the Division B tournament, which begins on Friday August 4th against Ukraine at 6:15pm.

Barking Abbey’s Teresa Da Silva and Zoe Willis were in the preliminary squad but failed to make the final cut, with Da Silva awaiting a British passport.
